Wordless Wednesday - Fall's Last Hurrah

One of the things I am thankful for is living in an area where the trees change color each Fall. Nature puts on such a beautiful display, and all I have to do is sit back and enjoy it. In honor of the end of that season, I present my fall colors for you to enjoy from the privacy of your very own room!

Ah, the reds and oranges. . .

Up to the sky to see one color fade into the next. . .

The brilliant oranges. . .

The greens turn to the yellow-tree road. . .

The Japanese Maple in all its glory!

What a blaze of splendor you live amongst! A fitting backdrop for one so lovely... even if she is an Islanders fan. ;)

Gorgeous! I love the fall colors too. Most of our leaves are already down and I already miss them.

Happy WW!

I agree fall colors are stunning. This is the first time I have ever lived where the trees changed. The leaves are pretty much gone now but I have loved every minute of it!

Thanks for visiting cyberbones. BTW the big kiddo in the picture isn't my husband, he was taking the picture, it was my oldest son AKA the teenager. Thanks for the chuckle!

Hi Maureen -- These are wonderful pretty tree pictures. Ours here in the south aren't nearly as pretty as the ones further north. We just get yellow leaves and then they fall or blow off. Many trees are green all year long.

Thank you for your visit and nice comment. I am glad you smiled, my blogs (3 active) are light in general.
..
BTW, my mother-in-law had arthritis and reynoud's syndrome and also circulation problems. Those are not fun.
I am your Mom's age and so far am coping with just old age things, mostly circulation and a little arthritis (six meds).

I always like the reds the best but I think the yellow-tree road is fabulous. I know, looking at the colors around you makes you feel more alive for some reason. It is good!

What glorious colors! Is this your neighborhood? Our colors weren't so vibrant this year so I'll enjoy yours!

Wow! The colors are just amazing! How beautiful. Most our trees are bare now, but there are still a few leaves still on the branches. I don't think we get the kind of reds you have, though. Great shots.

Thanks for dropping by! :D

Those are beautiful! Where I live, the leaves do not change colors. It is a little bit boring to only see green. I wish leaves would turn pink! That's my favorite color.

I miss the fall already. Our trees have already changed color, lost all their leaves, and are now just naked trees. I love your pictures. They really capture those beautiful fall colors.

Thank you for stopping by my WW, by the way. Also, my oldest sister was in high school in 1986 too. So, you shouldn't feel old. hehe

Happy WW.

These are very beautiful pictures. They remind me of when we live in Maine.

You are so fortunate to see all of this splendor. where I live the change is barely noticeable.

One day the flowers are blooming then a freeze hits and everything changes to winter.

Thanks for dropping by to visit me and leave a comment.

I just now got back from town and can't wait to visit to everyone.

Thanks for taking these pictures and sharing with us.

I don;t which is my favorite...the Maple or the lovely shot of the lane lined in yellow!!

Happy WW:-))

Great pictures! The first one is striking. I bet you could sell prints on etsy. Something to think about...

great minds..huh? (:

(Today, after a two days of heavy rain and winds I noticed those two red cars parked again under those trees. But there weren't any leaves left above them. What a difference!)

These are just lovely, Maureen. They would be just as at home in frames hung on the living room wall as they are here.

You captured the brilliance in these. Not easy, but you translated the vibrancy of the fall colors into your photos.

Very nice pics, Maureen. I like the one looking down the street. I should've taken a pic of our Autumn Blaze Maple and our Honeylocust. It looks like it's snowing when the little leaves fall off!

Nice job!
